Dr Santosh Kurien
Dr Santosh Kurien completed his primary medical training (MBBS) from India in 1993.
He moved to England in 1997 and worked in different specialities including Endocrinology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and Emergency Medicine while completing his postgraduate training in General Practice.
Dr Kurien worked as a GP in England for 5 years before moving to Geelong, Australia in 2009.
He has been a general practitioner for over 20 years and comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
He has special interest in Chronic Disease Management with interest in heart disease and diabetes, Elderly Medicine, Weight Management, Child Health and Men’s Health.
His spoken languages are English and Malayalam.
Dr Kurien lives locally with his wife and has one daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family and travelling to different countries to experience the various cultures and cuisines. He also enjoys keeping fit by regularly running and cycling around the Barwon River.

Dr Suria Bavahni Shanmugam
Dr Suria Bavahni Shanmugam is a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner committed to providing compassionate and patient-centred care. She has 21 years of medical experience, including 15 years as a General Practitioner.
Dr Suria obtained her MBBS from MAHE(Manipal) India in 2004. She pursued a Diploma in Family medicine in 2012 and obtained her Fellowship from the Malaysian Academy of Family Physician in 2017. In
2018, Dr Suria obtained her Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She has special interest in the areas of Chronic Illness, Mental Health, Family Health, Children’s Health and Women’s Health.
Dr Suria believes in a holistic approach to healthcare, focusing on prevention, early intervention, and long-term well-being. She is known for her warm and approachable nature, ensuring every patient feels heard and supported.
Her spoken languages are English, Tamil and Bahasa Malaysia.
Outside of work, Dr Suria has a passion for hiking, gardening, cooking, baking and love sharing this interest with friends, family, and the local community.
Dr Suria is passionate about listening to her patients, ensuring they feel supported and empowered in their health journey.

Dr Ashwani Kumar
Dr Kumar is a highly experienced and trusted family physician with 26 years of rich experience. He has treated a vast range of medical conditions across all age groups, giving him deep expertise in diagnosing and managing diverse health concerns.

Dr Alvin Loke You Ong
Dr Alvin is a General Practitioner with over 15 years of experience practicing in the medical field. He holds both a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) as well as being a Life Member of the Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia (MAFP).
His special interests include, Dermatology and Skin Care including Acne and Eczema management, Sports Injury and Medicine, Child and Family Health, Weight Management, Mental Health, Heart Health and Screening.
Dr Alvin graduated from the prestigious International Medical University (IMU) in Malaysia in 2007 and completed his internship in Kuala Lumpur General Hospital before proceeding to practice in various hospitals across the country.
In 2010 he developed a keen interest in Family Medicine and decided to pursue General Practice as a speciality. In the past 15 years, he worked as a medical consultant in various settings including community health clinics, one stop medical centres, sexual health focused clinics and screening- based medical centres.
Dr Alvin is caring, thorough, and passionate about patient education by empowering and supporting patients with the tools they need to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
His spoken languages are English and Malay.
Outside of work, Dr Alvin enjoys cooking, baking, taking relaxing strolls along the beach, and is hosting regular boardgame nights for his local community. He also loves engaging with children and youth, while empowering them with encouragement and support to achieve their full potential.

Payment
- The “Out of pocket” cost is the difference between the consultation fee and Medicare Rebate.
- Medicare Rebate claims are processed on the day of consultation and deposited into your nominated bank account.
- We are a mix billing practice.
- Please pay for your consultation on the day of your appointment.

Further charges may apply for additional services such as

Cancellation Fees
- We require at least 2 hours’ notice prior to cancelling an appointment. A $50 cancellation fee will apply if adequate notice is not given.

Mary Fon Sing
Mary is a passionate and experienced physiotherapist with over 10 years of clinical experience in Australia, the UK, and Mauritius after training at the University of Melbourne. Mary is also a certified Clinical Pilates Instructor.
Her areas of interest include musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, biomechanical and running assessment, post-surgical rehabilitation, ante/postnatal musculoskeletal physiotherapy support, including massage therapy. Mary integrates manual therapy, dry needling, taping and tailored rehabilitation programs—including Clinical Pilates and strength training—to provide holistic and evidence-based care.
Mary has worked with elite athletes including State Volleyball teams and 2018 Commonwealth Games participants. Her personalised and hands-on approach makes her a trusted partner in recovery, injury prevention, and performance optimisation. Whether supporting postnatal mothers, treating sporting injuries, or guiding patients through chronic pain, Mary is committed to empowering individuals through education and collaborative care.
Outside of the clinic, Mary’s interests are surfing, volleyball, snowboarding, bouldering, martial arts, and hiking. She is fluent in both English and French.
Mary is now providing physiotherapy services on Saturday mornings and accepting new patients.
Minh Vu
Mr Minh Vu is a friendly and compassionate physiotherapist who is dedicated to helping his patients improve their physical health and resolve their pain through exercise, guidance, advice and manual therapy.
His treatment philosophy is to focus on finding the root cause of the patient’s condition, then empower and assist them in managing the said condition through a shared decision-making process.
Mr Minh Vu completed his Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Physiotherapy Practices from La Trobe University in 2018. With 7 years’ experience and counting in various settings such as acute hospital, community centre, private practice and aged care, Mr Minh Vu has a wealth of knowledge in a wide range of conditions and age demographics.
His areas of expertise include, but not limited to, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Sporting Injuries, Post Operative Rehabilitation and General Strength and Conditioning.
Mr Minh Vu is currently a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Additionally, Mr Minh Vu is fluent in both English and Vietnamese.
Outside of work, Mr Minh Vu enjoys going to the gym 5 times per week to practise what he preaches. Mr Minh Vu is an avid Olympic weightlifter and has held a state record for the Master’s 30-34 age range. He’s currently a member of the Victorian Weightlifting Association. On the weekend Mr Minh Vu enjoys being out in nature via hiking or gardening.
